CSI was contracted by ONR to assist ONR and the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in their transition to Navy and Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and to implement Industry Best Practices. Specific Tasks include:
- Assist ONR and NRL in its transition to NMCI.
- Assist NRL in developing its strategy and plans regarding NMCI for Chief of Naval Research (CNR) review and
approval.
- Facilitate the planning, scheduling, and implementation of the recommendations in the Best Practices Analysis
of ONR/NRL IT Operations report dated January 15, 2004 that are approved by ONR and/or NRL for further
review or implementation.
- Facilitate the implementation of the recommendations detailed in the NAVRIS Review memorandum dated
February 6, 2004.
- Continue to point out areas where the use of industry IT best practices may be of high value to ONR/NRL.
